Physical Inspections

Perform a complete property inspection and provide an easy-to-read Findings Report that identifies REAC deficiencies and their estimated point values, along with a fair-market cost estimate for correcting the deficiencies
Organize a property pre-inspection to help avoid costly mistakes such as imprecise measurements, locations of property boundaries, and inadequate key control issues
Oversee REAC repairs performed by your staff members or outside contractors
Provide independent contractors with experience in REAC repair
Accompany the REAC inspector during the inspection.

Review your inspection results to determine if an appeal is warranted and, if so, file a prompt response
Create an action plan to correct deficiencies
Ready your property for re-inspection
Accompany the inspector during the re-inspection

While overseeing a construction project for one of our clients, we were asked if we would provide them with a mock REAC inspection at another of their mid-rise properties.

In 2005, they had received a score in the mid 60s and wanted to score in the 90s. CNA conducted a 100% full unit inspection, completed a repair manual, and produced a completed work manual for them.

The property worked through the identified, prioritized list of repairs. The inspection went very well, with no surprises, and resulted in a REAC score in the low 90s.
